What are the basic rules of Ludo?

You take turns in a clockwise order; the highest throw of the die starts. With each throw, you decide which piece to move. A piece simply moves in a clockwise direction around the track given by the number thrown. If no piece can legally move according to the number thrown, play passes to the next people.

How to play?

A square board divided into four quadrants is necessary. Each with a different color. The board has a track that loops around and it is divided into several segments, representing the movement paths for the tokens. Everyone selects four tokens of the same color and places them in their designated starting areas.

How to win?

The objective of the game is to move all four tokens from the starting area to the central home area. You take turns rolling dice and the number rolled corresponds to how many spaces a token can move. The tokens need to make a complete loop around the board before reaching the home area. The journey is not without obstacles as other people's tokens can send your tokens back to the starting area if they land on the same space.
